1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on Stage of Dance™ and utilizing our services, you accept these Terms and Conditions. We may modify these terms at any time, and changes will be notified through the platform or via email. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of updated terms.
2. Use of the Platform
2.1. User Registration
To access Stage of Dance™ services, you must create a personal account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities conducted under your account. Unauthorized sharing or misuse of your account is prohibited.
2.2. Request for Organizers
Users who wish to create events must apply for organizer access. Once approved, organizers can manage, promote, and sell tickets for their events. Organizer access may be revoked if terms are violated or for misuse of platform tools.
2.3. Usage Policy
All users and organizers agree to use the platform legally and respectfully, in compliance with relevant regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe and Consumer Protection and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines in the United States.
3. Event Creation and Promotion
3.1. Event Information
Organizers are required to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information regarding events, including event date, location, refund policies, and any other relevant details. Inaccuracies or false information may result in account suspension.
3.2. Event Promotion
Stage of Dance™ offers advanced promotional tools, such as banners, featured event placements, and access to strategic partners to increase visibility. The use of promotional tools may incur additional fees, which will be specified in the organizer’s account and must be agreed upon in advance.
3.3. Rights to Content
By publishing an event on Stage of Dance™, organizers grant us the right to use any uploaded images, descriptions, and materials for promotional purposes on the platform, social media, and marketing channels. Stage of Dance™ reserves the right to edit or adapt content for clarity or to align with our platform guidelines.
4. Ticket Sales and Fees
4.1. Commissions
Stage of Dance™ retains a 2.5% commission on each ticket sale, which is automatically deducted before funds are transferred to the organizer’s account. Organizers can review detailed commission structures in their control panel.
4.2. Payments to Organizers
Organizers may choose from different payment models:
- Direct Payment: Funds are transferred directly, minus applicable fees.
- Fund Retention: Funds are held until the event is completed to ensure compliance with refund policies.
- Advance Model: Organizers may receive advance funds, subject to approval and additional conditions.
All transfers will be made after deducting the necessary commissions and processing fees. Stage of Dance™ reserves the right to delay payments if there are unresolved disputes or suspected fraudulent activities.
4.3. Availability and Pricing
The organizer is responsible for setting and managing ticket availability and pricing. Pricing changes and ticket availability must be clearly communicated to users, and Stage of Dance™ is not liable for organizer-related inaccuracies.
5. Refund Policies
5.1. Refunds for Attendees
Stage of Dance™ guarantees refunds to attendees in accordance with each event’s specific refund policies. Organizers must communicate these policies clearly in the event description. Stage of Dance™ retains a portion of the event funds until the event date to cover potential refunds. These retained funds will be returned to the organizer after successful event completion, provided there are no pending refund requests.
5.2. Event Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, the organizer is responsible for notifying attendees and managing refunds as per the event’s stated policies. Stage of Dance™ will retain funds until all refund requests are resolved, after which the remaining funds will be transferred to the organizer.
5.3. Force Majeure
Stage of Dance™ is not liable for event cancellations due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, such as extreme weather, government restrictions, pandemics, or natural disasters. In such cases, refunds will be handled according to the organizer’s policy, and organizers are encouraged to clearly outline their approach to force majeure events.
6. Responsibilities and Obligations
6.1. Organizer Responsibilities
Organizers are solely responsible for:
- Event Execution: Delivering the event as promised to attendees.
- Compliance with Local Laws: Ensuring that all necessary permits, licenses, and legal obligations are met.
- Service Delivery: Providing a safe and satisfactory experience to all attendees. Disputes between organizers and attendees must be handled directly by the parties involved.
6.2. Stage of Dance™ Responsibilities
Stage of Dance™ acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for organizing, promoting, or executing events. Our responsibility is limited to facilitating ticket sales, providing promotional services (if agreed upon), and processing refunds when necessary. We are not liable for event-specific issues, such as event changes or attendee disputes.
7. Advertising and Promotion
7.1. Advertising Investment
Stage of Dance™ invests 20% of its profits in advertising premium events to ensure higher visibility for organizers who opt for this promotional tier. Premium events are given priority placement across our marketing channels.
7.2. Strategic Partners
Strategic partners are those who pay for prominent placement in the top menu under the Partners section. Partners enjoy exclusive promotional benefits, such as banner placement, to enhance their event visibility.
7.3. Paid Features
Additional promotional features, such as featured listings and personalized event highlights, may be available to organizers for a fee. Organizers are encouraged to review feature costs and policies before opting for these services.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
8.1. Compliance with GDPR and CCPA
Stage of Dance™ complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in the United States. We are committed to protecting personal information and respecting your rights to access, rectify, or delete your data.
8.2. Personal Information Usage
By using our platform, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal information as per our Privacy Policy. You may request data deletion at any time by contacting us.
9. Modification of Terms and Conditions

For European users, these Terms and Conditions are governed by European Union laws and local regulations in the user or organizer’s country of residence. Disputes will be resolved in the courts corresponding to that jurisdiction.
11.2. Applicable Law in the United States
For users in the United States, these terms are subject to the laws of the state in which Stage of Dance™ operates, as well as applicable federal laws. Disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
11.3. Mediation and Arbitration
In case of disputes, we encourage both parties to seek mediation or arbitration before initiating formal legal proceedings. Stage of Dance™ can provide recommendations for neutral third-party mediators if both parties agree.
